A limited amount of each of our most renowned boards have been decorated with a Birdseye Maple veneer just under the graphic. Each veneer has been carefully observed by all of us here at Zenit to assure that only the most outstanding pieces show up at the bottom of your deck.
Birdseye is the name given to a growth anomaly occurring in hard maple. These little eye-looking knots are most likely formed from the tree’s attempt to create new buds in its grain in order to absorb more sunlight. Due to many debatable factors, the tree must halt the procedure and resume its normal growth. While Birdseye Maple is not its own species, its distribution is almost EXCLUSIVE to Northeastern North American
A rarity found in automobile trim, jewellery boxes, guitars, and custom rifle stocks to name a few of its uses, it’s not an easy feat to find Birdseye Maple. No one knows exactly why Birdseye Maple comes about, but all the real ones know that it’s synonymous with Luxury. Land your feet on one of the 10 Tero made before this limited collection flies off the shelves!
The board description you will see BELOW is that of the Tero 2.0. This is a reminder that you are on the Birdseye Maple page, so be confident that if you add one of the options ABOVE to your cart, you are selecting the Birdseye Maple edition.
With a radial concave that hugs your feet, functional kicktails that have pop for eons, a cut-out shape and 1/8” micro-drops to help keep your feet on the board, the Tero flies through the streets like a prehistoric bird in a breeze.
The standing platform’s width is great for those looking to dance on more responsive freestyle driven board; the micro-drops and radial concave come together at the corners to let you know you’re just almost off the board. On top of all that, the compact wheelbase is balanced perfectly between stability and agility so that you can surf down that hill confidently yet carve in and out of sidewalk traffic without worrying.
Weight: 4.2 lbs
The recommended rider weight for this board is below 250 lbs.
This board features a wooden core made of five plies of Hard Rock Canadian Maple. Stuck together and strengthened by water resistant, bio sourced Greenpoxy, we sandwich it between two sheets of pre-tesioned triaxial fibreglass which are embellished with the board’s alluring colours.
The pre tensioned and pre cured fibreglass supplies some playful flex patterns that keep the board consistent throughout. Gentle kicktails on all the 2021 dancers facilitate popping the board so you don't have to comply with gravity. Most importantly, the composite material keeps the board crisp, snappy, and durable, without sacrificing any of the wood’s natural flexibility.
Simplicity enthralls; complexity gets lost in the cacophony.
