QUALITY & AESTHETIC

Our boards are designed and produced in house in Montreal. Developped, manufactured, & detailed with love.

The only Draft you need

Built for speed, the Draft will have you out in front of everybody, no slip stream required. A 10 degree wedge in the front and -13 wedge in the back optimize your truck angles for high speed stability, and its 22"long and wide 9.75” double drop platform with pockets provides an abundance of traction for any kind of slide or scrub you need to perform.

A unidirectional carbon fiber cross at the front of the board gets rid of any chance of torsion from leaning your weight over the front of the board, and an additional stringer running the length of the board adds even more rigidity to the deck. This strong, composite construction, as well as the boards’ thick necks, means that we don’t need more than 7 plys of Canadian maple to make the board stiff enough for 100km/h+ speeds. Plus, slight wheel wells have adapted the board to allow for much bigger downhill wheels.

Functional Design

Fountain of Youth

To honour such a timeless, legendary shape, we knew our interpretation had to be top shelf. Thorough experimentation and extensive brainstorming allowed us to rejuvinate the model and bestow the board with avant-garde technology fit for the gnarliest riders out there. Intersecting three unidirectional carbon fiber strips at the front of the platform creates a triaxial tension resistance that can withstand some heavy g-forces in those high speed sweepers and entirely eliminates flex in the neck, keeping us from having to pile on plys of wood. On top of that, the board is water-resistant! That's good because, well, we dipped it in the fountain of youth to turn an old board into gold.

Quality Over Quantity

7 plies of Hard Rock Canadian Maple are laminated together with biosourced epoxy and enhanced by three strips of unidirectional carbon fibre to create an ultra rigid, downhill destroyer in a high strength, pre-tensioned fibreglass sandwich.

Simplicity enthralls; complexity gets lost in the cacophony.

Artistry

Painted onto the inside of the fibreglass, the colours withstand no abrasion and remain an integral part of the board forever.

Beast Mode!

The Draft is a mean little honey badger of a deck!!! I ordered mine with an extra maple ply. I was worried that the standing platform was going to be too short for my taste, but it is spot on! I have a couple of older Evo decks (11-ply, 15 front wedge, -15 back), that I absolutely love, but the Draft is an whole different beast. The shorter wheelbase makes it much more nimble. The composites construction combined with the shorter length make the deck much more rigid, yet very light.

I set mine up with Cuei Killers on Ronin ProLites at 155mm hangers, and 40/40 baseplates, giving an effective 50/27 split for downhill. The ride was a blast on some 40MPH downhill runs. I've also run it with the same Ronin 40/40 baseplates with 174mm ProLite hangers and purple KRimes for garage sessions. It's a great garage bomber! I've yet to take it out for a proper slide session, but I've got some FreeBase wheels ready for that next. It's very easy to initiate slides with the drop pockets and short overall length. Feet are locked in, and kicking out standies or hands down is effortless.

If you're on the fence, pull the trigger! You won't be disappointed.

Like the Evo, but Better

Platform feels bigger, with its squarer shape and less taper to the neck. Wedge/dewedge makes setup easy. Deck is much thinner than the Evo. It's stiff, but not as stiff as advertised. 210lb rider, and I feel the slightest bit of flex when I stand on it. Plenty stiff, but not what I was expecting. Rides great in TKPs or RKPs. If you're a heavyweight looking for an LDP setup, this maybe be the deck for you. 169mm TKPs with >85mm wheels, feels pretty great. Minus one star for the flex (very slight). Still the 2022 deck I'm most hyped about though 🔥🤙
