Evolving Innovation

A sturdy long distance pusher with a tail. Take it off curbs and over speed bumps, all while keeping the graphic pristene.

A 10° wedge and 13° dewedge make for a lively carve in the front and a less sensitive truck in the back. The extra truck angle at the front helps you pump, and the lower angle in the back reduces the truck's angle for a damper turn.

What's in the board?

A bio sourced epoxy laminates five plies of Canadian Maple into a rigid, water-resistant core that’s protected by a sheet of pre-tensioned fibreglass on either side, eliminating warping entirely. A solid board with ideal flex.

A tail? On a distance board?

You bet! When a pesky pedestrian directs your sidewalk surfing off the curb or you heading for a great big crack in the road, having a tail to get the front wheels up off the ground can keep away scratches and stress fractures. If you ride it with Zenit LDPs, you could probably hold a rediculously long manual too.

Good ldp board

I have ridden this board for about 80km now. I just want to say that this board is well made. Feels light. The wedging helps with pumping and the drops helps with the pushing. The kicktail makes it easy to kick the board up.

I think this board would be a good introduction to long distance pumping. No need to mess around with wedges. Just slap on some standard non-precision trucks, maybe adjust the bushings and you are good to go. With the kicktail and the single piece construction (which means no need for brackets), this board should also be suitable for daily commuting.

Comfy & Solid Ride

The AZ provides ample leg room, feels secure/stable/ solid with the front leg on the centre line as you push with the other. A slight flex is evident (more flex than the AB3.0) which helps pumping after getting up to speed. I set this up with surfy TKP front, narrower TKP rear + 85mm wheels, and the pump performance is just shy of a top mount with precision trucks. Averaged 17kmh on a debut 8km test... and I am sure it can be pushed further with the right adjustments. Convenient for new entrants to LDP without thinking of brackets or wedges; a fresh feel for some of us who have done it longer. Love thr deck construction & the overall ride feel!

Made in Canada LDP Deck

Build quality looks top notch! Excellent wedged front and de-wedged rear. Set up with Kegels and will try Bennetts for pumping. Might try Paris 165's on it as well. The grip tape is a really cool design with the Zenit logo cut outs. Have to wait for the snow to melt before I can take it for a ride. I can hardly wait! Thanks Zenit for creating a board for Canadian LDP riders who want to buy local.
