A limited amount of each of our most renowned boards have been decorated with a Birdseye Maple veneer just under the graphic. Each veneer has been carefully observed by all of us here at Zenit to assure that only the most outstanding pieces show up at the bottom of your deck.
Birdseye is the name given to a growth anomaly occurring in hard maple. These little eye-looking knots are most likely formed from the tree’s attempt to create new buds in its grain in order to absorb more sunlight. Due to many debatable factors, the tree must halt the procedure and resume its normal growth. While Birdseye Maple is not its own species, its distribution is almost EXCLUSIVE to Northeastern North American
hard maple.
A rarity found in automobile trim, jewellery boxes, guitars, and custom rifle stocks to name a few of its uses, it’s not an easy feat to find Birdseye Maple. No one knows exactly why Birdseye Maple comes about, but all the real ones know that it’s synonymous with Luxury. Land your feet on one of the 6 Marble 35 made before this limited collection flies off the shelves!
The board description you will see BELOW is that of the Marble 35 V2. This is a reminder that you are on the Birdseye Maple page, so be confident that if you add one of the options ABOVE to your cart, you are selecting the Birdseye Maple edition.
Sort through the different trucks and wheels combinations to see what your dream Marble 35 complete would look like!
Designed for ease of transport, the Marble 35 is everything you know and love about the Marble 38 but in a smaller package: a progressive micro dropped platform, a delicate radial concave, wheelflares, a fully functional but mellowed out kicktail, machined wheel wells, and two inches of wheelbase options.
This composite piece of wood is a quiver killer: small enough to replace your long overdue cruiser, but still big enough to become your most beloved downhill board. Set it up at a longer wheelbase and you have small top mount ready to go down the gnarliest mountain passes, or set it at its smallest wheelbase to have a cruisy, freeride ready setup.

Bio sourced Greenpoxy laminates two sheets of pre-cured, pre-tensioned triaxial fibreglass sandwich to four plies of Hard Rock Canadian Maple and a central ply of Poplar. Poplar reduces the weight of the deck while the Maple retains rigidity. The high strength fibreglass not only strengthens the board and its pop; it keeps the water out while eternally protecting the graphic from rocks, curbs, and board slides, as well as making the board immune to warping.
The pre-tensioned and pre-cured fibreglass that surrounds the Marble’s wooden core keeps it consistent throughout, offering extra pop, a solid ride, and just the slightest bit of predictable play. With gentler kicktails and less leverage needed to get the board airborne, flatground precision is now on a whole other level.
Simplicity enthralls; complexity gets lost in the cacophony.
