Beast Mode!

The Draft is a mean little honey badger of a deck!!! I ordered mine with an extra maple ply. I was worried that the standing platform was going to be too short for my taste, but it is spot on! I have a couple of older Evo decks (11-ply, 15 front wedge, -15 back), that I absolutely love, but the Draft is an whole different beast. The shorter wheelbase makes it much more nimble. The composites construction combined with the shorter length make the deck much more rigid, yet very light.

I set mine up with Cuei Killers on Ronin ProLites at 155mm hangers, and 40/40 baseplates, giving an effective 50/27 split for downhill. The ride was a blast on some 40MPH downhill runs. I've also run it with the same Ronin 40/40 baseplates with 174mm ProLite hangers and purple KRimes for garage sessions. It's a great garage bomber! I've yet to take it out for a proper slide session, but I've got some FreeBase wheels ready for that next. It's very easy to initiate slides with the drop pockets and short overall length. Feet are locked in, and kicking out standies or hands down is effortless.

If you're on the fence, pull the trigger! You won't be disappointed.

Like the Evo, but Better

Platform feels bigger, with its squarer shape and less taper to the neck. Wedge/dewedge makes setup easy. Deck is much thinner than the Evo. It's stiff, but not as stiff as advertised. 210lb rider, and I feel the slightest bit of flex when I stand on it. Plenty stiff, but not what I was expecting. Rides great in TKPs or RKPs. If you're a heavyweight looking for an LDP setup, this maybe be the deck for you. 169mm TKPs with >85mm wheels, feels pretty great. Minus one star for the flex (very slight). Still the 2022 deck I'm most hyped about though 🔥🤙
